This is a demonstration site for a COVID-19 testing scheduling platform. It utilizes Inntopia’s travel reservation and scheduling software to allow users to schedule testing as it comes online. This test site demonstrates the basic functionality of the system.

Who can use this?

Local clinics, hospitals, county and regional agencies, state health departments, and anyone looking to manage COVID-19 test scheduling.

How does it work?

People seeking testing can look for available testing slots and select them. Testing centers can manage the availability of slots and log into a portal to see who is scheduled.

Is this configurable?

The system is highly configurable. This test site is built to collect some of the basic information currently required for testing, but as requirements change the questions asked can also be changed.

Is it online only?

No. There is also a call center application that can be used by contact centers to schedule tests over the phone.

What about privacy (HIPAA)?

Inntopia is certified ISO 27001 and PCI compliant, which are the most comprehensive security certifications available. Inntopia’s third party auditor has provided a letter as to the privacy and security standards adhered to by the company and the platform. These standards map closely to HIPAA, and the exceptions are noted by the auditor in the letter. Inntopia is in the process of applying for a waiver to expedite or waive HIPAA for this application and expects to have that in place soon.

What is the cost?

Initially this is being offered free of charge. However, there is likely to be a fee at some point. As this is a fast-moving event, we wanted to get this out to the public as quickly as possible while we work out the economics. We also don’t want agencies, clinics, etc. to be prohibited from using this application due to budgetary concerns.

Is it scalable?

Yes, to a point. This application is built on Inntopia’s high-availability travel reservation platform and is designed to handle capacities that traditional medical scheduling software may not be designed to handle. We don’t have scale to roll it out nationwide, so we’re focusing on the areas where we have offices/employees – Vermont, Colorado and Maine. If you are not in one of those areas, please contact us
